Marine Sample policy

Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how Marine Sample may be used as a vessel sample tracking and reporting platform.

Draft notice: this page is a practical starter policy for the app. It should be reviewed by a qualified professional before public commercial use.

1. Service

Marine Sample provides tools for logging vessel machinery, sample records, uploaded reports, sent samples, trends, alerts and printable reports. The service is intended to support onboard engineering record keeping.

2. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for entering accurate vessel, machinery, sample and report information. The app does not replace professional engineering judgement, class requirements, statutory requirements or laboratory advice.

3. Account Access

Users must keep login details secure and only use accounts they are authorised to access. You should notify Marine Sample if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Uploaded Reports

You confirm that you have permission to upload any lab reports, images, PDFs or vessel data added to the platform. Uploaded material should relate to your vessel or machinery records.

5. Availability

Marine Sample aims to provide a reliable service, but no system can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted. Maintenance, updates or technical issues may occasionally affect access.

6. Fees

The single vessel plan is shown as €9.99 per month or €110 per year. Pricing may be updated in future, with reasonable notice for active users where applicable.

7. Liability

Marine Sample is a record keeping and monitoring tool. It is not responsible for machinery damage, missed maintenance, operational decisions, commercial loss or safety incidents arising from how information is interpreted or used.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated as the product develops. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
